A guided walkthrough
Room by room, with a three-state checklist — inspected and fine, not applicable, defect. Proving that you looked at the windows matters as much as the list of what was wrong with them.
Stamped at the shutter
Every frame carries its capture time, its coordinates if you allow location, and a SHA-256 hash computed over the exact bytes written to disk.
A report, not a photo dump
A cover page, a one-page defect summary, a methodology note, the rooms, the meters and keys, and an appendix indexing every frame with its hash.
Sent as a link
The landlord opens a page, reads the report, and can comment or confirm. If they ignore it, the record says so: sent on the 3rd, opened on the 4th, no objection in fourteen days.
Verifiable without exposure
The Report ID printed on the document can be checked on its own. The verification page holds no address, no names and no photographs — by construction.
Works offline
The walkthrough, the hashes and the PDF are all produced on the phone. Nothing is transmitted until you decide to send.
The hash covers the bytes on disk
When you allow location, the coordinates are written into each photograph's EXIF block at capture, and the SHA-256 hash is taken afterwards — over exactly what gets written, with no re-encode in between. The report carries a manifest of those hashes, so any later change to a frame is detectable.
RentStamp does not assert legal validity, admissibility, or compliance with any jurisdiction's tenancy procedure. It produces organized evidence and a professional report. What a tribunal or a landlord makes of it is theirs to decide.

Nothing leaves the phone until you send a report
There is no account and no network request carrying your data until you tapSend to landlord. Sending creates an anonymous account that holds no email address, no name and no password.
Voice notes and documents you keep in the app's vault are never uploaded at all. Full-resolution originals are uploaded only with the Evidence vault subscription. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is transmitted, and who can read it.
